A trip to remember.....

Before my Chennai and Pondicherry trips... let me take you to one of our journeys... i dont think anyone of us can ever forget...
It was somewhere in October 2016, before diwali, at my home town(Jaipur). I was talking to one of my bestie from SPJAIN - GIRI, over phone about placement scenario at college and all. And suddenly an idea to go on a Grad trip came to our mind. We started discussing places we can visit after our MBA before joining the job. We had always thought of going to some non-conventional places and exploring the unexplored. After an heavy round of discussion for about an hour, we decided to visit Cambodia and Vietnam ( trust me, a number of people wont be able to trace these countries on map).
So, we planned this trip as an all BOY trip ( Me, Giri and Thakur), but due to delay in placement, Thakur could not joined ( i missed his jokes during this trip, wished he was there... ).

So, our flight was on 2nd December morning 5 AM. We had a marketing batch party on 1st December. So we packed our bag and directly went to airport from the party.

On the suggestion of Giri, i specially purchased a Bagpack of wild craft(Trail blazor)...According to Giri....SRK used this one in his movie Chennai Express.. this is how he sold this bag to me.

This is how we were looking like... so excited at 5 AM in the morning.... After all Cambodia was waiting for us yaar...... :0

Life @ Chennai...

So on 1st January 2017, i entered Chennai. The city welcomed me with non english/Hindi speaking cab drivers. I realized that the hardest part is to get them at your location. Anyways i somehow survived.
I stayed around 15 days at Courtyard Marriott, during this period scouted for some furnished apartment to get in. Trust me, if you are a bachelorm that too from north India, the flat owners look at you like you are a Terrorist.
Meanwhile, i met one of my best friend from MNIT, Mr. Bharat Jain. We were together in the same batch Mech 2010 +MNIT Jaipur . During engineering, we 4 friends decided to get in to the same company after the college, but all of us got in different company and different location. Now, after 7 years, life has brought both me and Bharat together, he is also working with SHELL, Chennai.

So, finally with the help of Facebook, i got a good flat with 2 other flat mates. Tarun from Shimla ( a young engineer working with CAT) and Vishnu from Kerala(a MBA grad working with HCL).

This is the pic of one of the most beautiful beach at Chennai- Besant nagar beach. I visited this one during my tour of Chennai city.

Fortunately, some of my college friends from SPJAIN are there in Chennai, so got some time to meet them.
From left- Mudit, Me, Ram and Rohan(at the back)

So this is how my first week was....

Wrong turn....Bangalore to Chennai..

So.. It has been more than an year since i wrote something (Who cares :P) ,, and the reason-- i was trying to change the trajectory of my life. As a typical Indian, i didn't know why i became an engineer, why i got into sales, why i did MBA... even after MBA the story is same.. the reason is unknown.
So i got a job in my dream company (SHELL) and landed in Bangalore. This was my first time in southern part of India. I was really happy, as a number of friends were there at Bangalore,,, more importantly they call it City of pubs.. and who knows the importance of good party places better than me :). But this happiness didn't last longer and i got transferred to Chennai... yes CHENNAI....i remember Giri telling people who got placement @ Chennai (Waha banda Hotel room main bhi tanned ho jaata h)...

So i had 15 days in Bangalore before moving to Chennai... so i thought of using the most of it. I felt like i will never see a pub again in my life... and started visiting 2-3-4-5 pubs in a day @Bangalore.

Oakwood residency.. where i stayed in bangalore

With Giri and Verma... @ Windmill craftworks Banaglore...

With Samath @ somewhere in Indiranagar... This was Xmas... we could not find any place there as there was couple entry in almost all the clubs... so we tried getting in as gay couple.. :P

@Verma's home... had home made food,,,,cooked by her mom....

So, this is how my journey was in Bangalore..... i wished to stay at this place... but something else was waiting for me i guess...

"Time Travel"

The Spark was good enough and hence the ignition was successful- Started writing Blog again ( Pl do not read my previous ones :P)

Let me update my personnel info, Last time when i wrote, was working with HPC. Now i am officially "BEROJGAAR".

I have spent 3 months at home, can you believe it? 3 MONTHS ( Resigned in September ). It is a mixed feeling, felt like i have crossed the escape velocity and traveled time ( Almost 10 years ), have not received  salary in last 3 months, and invested all my savings into my higher Education. So again, for 1000 Bucks, i had to give Tons of explanations to Mom and Dad, the way i used to give during College days.

Last 5 years, i have visited home as a traveler, on festivals or on long weekends. This was first time, when i was at home, like really at HOME. Trust me, things are exactly same, the way they used to be in your childhood.

Phrase "Love is eternal " , is a common saying. But i want to change it a bit, " Parental love is eternal "
The way mom used to scold for little things ( For coming late at night, for leaving food in plate, for talking over phone for hours, for not taking shower in the morning.... never ending ), hasn't changed, it is exactly the same.

One thing i realized in these 3 Months,  as we grow up, we make new friends, new social circle, get indulged into work and social stuffs, and  start ignoring the First and Real friends of our lives. But they cannot ignore you. Many a times it happens, when you are busy at night partying with friends or colleagues late night, and forget to call your Mom/dad, even ignore their calls, trust me, they do not sleep till they receive your call or message.

I dont know  beautiful quotes to end this, but yes, please do not let your busy life, do not let your expanding social circle, do not let your lifestyle, increase the distance between you and your parents.
They were, they are and they will always be waiting for hearing from you.
